3. How we use information
- To operate, secure and improve the website and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To answer your questions and requests.
- To show job listings that match the keywords and location you search for.
- To show job openings near your city on our job openings page and job guides.
- To send you job alert emails, only if you sign up (see section 5).
- To measure audience and traffic (Google Analytics 4).
- To show advertising, including ads based on your interests, and measure ad performance (Google Ad Manager, managed by our monetization partner ActiveView, which also uses its own measurement tools).

- To comply with the law and protect our rights.
4. Cookies, pixels and cross-site tracking
We and third parties such as Google, ActiveView and Meta use cookies, web beacons, pixels and similar technologies on this website. These third parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites, including this one, and use it to provide and measure targeted advertising. Google describes how it uses this information at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. There is no common standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, and our website does not yet respond automatically to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. You can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising at any time using the options on Your Privacy Choices.
5. Job alert emails
On our job openings page you can give us your email address (required) and your name (optional) to receive job alert emails: messages about job openings and our guides on how to apply, related to the employer you chose and your area. After you sign up, we take you to our guide for that employer. We send these emails only if you agree by tapping “See job openings” under a notice that names us as the sender.
Every email identifies CPH Insights (CRACKIA LLC) with our postal address, as the CAN-SPAM Act requires, and includes an unsubscribe link. We honor unsubscribe requests promptly, and no later than 10 business days after you unsubscribe. You can also unsubscribe by writing to [email protected].
We keep your sign-up details until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep proof of your consent and of your unsubscribe for up to 3 years, only to show that we followed the law. We do not sell or share your email address or our email list; our email provider only processes it on our behalf.
6. How we disclose information
- Service providers that host and protect the website (Hostinger, Cloudflare), measure traffic (Google) and handle our email.
- Job alert providers: MailerLite, the email service provider (United States and European Union) that keeps our job alert list and sends the job alert emails, and Vercel, which hosts the small application we use to pass your sign-up to MailerLite.
- IP location services: GeoJS (get.geojs.io) and, as a backup, ipapi.co receive your IP address to estimate your location and show job openings near you. We do not store the IP address from this lookup.
- Advertising partners: Google, ActiveView and the ad buyers they work with, and Meta. Allowing these partners to collect information through cookies for targeted advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under some state laws. You can opt out at any time: see Your Privacy Choices.
- Talent.com, which provides the job listings in our job search. When you click a listing you leave our website, and the destination site’s privacy policy applies.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, and a buyer or successor in the event of a merger or sale of our business.
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on the state where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we have collected about you and get a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete personal information;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising;
- not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request” and tell us which state you live in. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject “Privacy appeal”; we will answer within 60 days, and if you disagree with the outcome you may contact your state Attorney General.
8. Retention
We keep server logs for up to 30 days, messages for up to 12 months after our last exchange and analytics data for up to 14 months. We keep job alert sign-up details until you unsubscribe, and then proof of your consent and of your unsubscribe for up to 3 years. Advertising cookies expire according to the periods set by each partner, generally up to 13 months.
9. Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
