DHL jobs in Canada come from three DHL divisions in 2026: DHL Express, DHL Supply Chain and DHL Global Forwarding. Most hourly openings are for casual courier drivers, warehouse associates, forklift operators, material handlers and order pickers, in places such as Calgary, Brampton, Lachine and Dartmouth.

All three divisions post their Canadian openings on DHL’s official careers site, where you can filter by city, division and type of work. Use the button below to see the current listings for Canada and apply there.
Which DHL divisions hire in Canada
Each division runs its own sites and hires for its own operations, so it helps to know which one is behind a listing. The table combines the division figures from DHL’s Canada report with the careers site search on October 22, 2026.
| Division | Sites and workers in Canada (2023) | Listings on October 22, 2026 | Typical hourly roles |

How DHL Canada listings appear on the careers site
The careers link on DHL’s Canadian website leads to careers.dhl.com, the DHL careers site for the Americas. A search filtered to Canada shows each listing’s city, province, division and schedule. On October 22, 2026, 27 of the 48 listings were full-time, 15 part-time and 6 temporary, and 35 were at the “operatives” level, the site’s term for frontline jobs.
The Apply button depends on the division. DHL Supply Chain listings open a talentReef form on jobappnetwork.com, while DHL Express and Global Forwarding listings continue on DHL Group’s Avature portal at dpdhlgroup.avature.net. Several Quebec listings are bilingual, for example “Casual Courier Driver/Chauffeur-livreur occasionnel”.

Common DHL hourly jobs in Canada
Courier work belongs to DHL Express. On October 22, 2026, it listed casual courier driver roles in Calgary, Brampton, Scarborough, London, Ottawa, Mount Hope, Richmond, Lachine, Mirabel and Quebec City, plus a casual D-DZ driver role in Ottawa. Casual means there is no set schedule; the Brampton listing asks for availability between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Warehouse work is split between divisions. DHL Express hires warehouse staff to scan, sort and move freight at its service centres, for example a casual warehouse associate in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and a part-time warehouse worker in Lachine, Quebec. DHL Supply Chain runs warehouses for client companies, and its Canadian careers page describes part-time and full-time warehouse, operations support and driver positions, from forklift operation to order picking and packing.
Not every driver who serves DHL Express customers in Canada is a DHL employee. DHL’s June 2025 service notice says the Unifor union represents operational staff and owner-operator drivers who serve DHL Express customers. The courier listings on the careers site name DHL Express (Canada), Ltd. as the employer.
Requirements in Canadian DHL postings
Courier listings ask for a high school diploma or equivalent, a clean driving record and the licence class for the vehicle: Class 5 in Calgary, a G licence in Brampton and a full DZ licence for the Ottawa D-DZ role. Express couriers and warehouse staff must be able to lift parcels of up to 70 pounds throughout a shift.
DHL Express states that all applicants must pass interviews and a criminal check and other background checks. DHL Supply Chain postings mention lifting up to 50 pounds, and its forklift listings ask for six months of forklift experience plus a forklift certificate, or completion of a training program within the first 30 days. The seasonal order filler picker listing in Calgary lists six months of warehouse experience as preferred, not required.
How to apply for DHL jobs in Canada step by step
- Open DHL’s official careers site with the button on this page; the search is already filtered to Canada.
- Narrow the results by city, division or job category, such as Delivery or Operations.
- Open a listing and check the employer named in the text, the schedule, the licence class and the hourly wage if one is shown.
- Click Apply and complete the form on talentReef (Supply Chain) or Avature (Express and Global Forwarding).
- Upload your resume or, where the form offers it, fill in the fields from your LinkedIn profile.
- Watch your email and phone, because DHL Express says only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
The DHL hiring process
DHL’s careers site describes a typical sequence and notes that the details and order vary by role, location and business area. It starts with an online application, followed by a telephone interview and then a personal interview in person or on video. Some positions add an assessment centre, and the final stage is onboarding, when new hires sign their contract and other documents.
Frontline listings add their own steps. DHL Express postings in Canada require criminal and background checks, and the Calgary and Brampton courier listings invited applicants to on-site career fairs on October 27 and October 28, 2026.
DHL pay in Canada: rates posted on listings
DHL does not publish one national pay scale for Canada. Rates depend on the division, the city, the shift and, at DHL Express, the collective agreement. The rates below appeared on specific listings checked on October 22, 2026, and apply only to those postings.
| Role | Location | Division | Hourly rate on the listing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Casual Courier Driver | Calgary, AB | DHL Express | $24.96 |
| Casual D-DZ Driver | Ottawa, ON | DHL Express | $24.26 |
| Casual Courier Driver | Brampton, ON | DHL Express | $23.33 |
| Casual Warehouse Associate | Dartmouth, NS | DHL Express | $20.72 |
| Warehouse/Commis | Lachine, QC | DHL Express | $19.70 |
| Forklift Operator, night shift | Brampton, ON | DHL Supply Chain | $23.25 plus a $1.25 shift premium |
| Material Handler | Calgary, AB | DHL Supply Chain | $22.50 |
| Order Filler Picker, seasonal | Calgary, AB | DHL Supply Chain | $21.50 |
| Forklift Operator | Delta, BC | Global Forwarding (Hillebrand Gori Canada Inc.) | $22 to $24 |
Benefits and the collective agreement
DHL Supply Chain’s Canadian postings list core benefits for full-time associates: medical and dental coverage, short-term and long-term disability, and basic life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Optional DCPP, RRSP and TFSA savings plans are available, and full-time associates can also receive paid time off, paid holidays and education reimbursement, subject to eligibility rules. The Brampton forklift listing adds monthly performance bonuses for full-time employees.
At DHL Express, the courier and warehouse listings say the wage will increase as set out in the collective bargaining agreement. DHL’s notice of June 30, 2025, says its agreement with Unifor runs until July 1, 2029.
Where DHL jobs are in Canada
Ontario had the most listings on October 22, 2026, mainly around Toronto and Hamilton, followed by Alberta. Calgary and Mississauga had nine listings each.
| Province | Listings on October 22, 2026 | Cities with listings |
|---|---|---|
| Ontario | 26 | Mississauga, Brampton, Ottawa, Milton, Mount Hope, Scarborough, London, Bolton, Brantford, Hannon |
| Alberta | 12 | Calgary, Fort Saskatchewan, Lethbridge |
| Quebec | 6 | Lachine, Mirabel, Quebec City |
| British Columbia | 2 | Vancouver (Delta), Richmond |
| Nova Scotia | 2 | Dartmouth |
Tips for your DHL application and interview
Check the licence line before anything else. Each courier listing names a class, and the Ottawa D-DZ role asks for a full DZ licence and a current driver’s abstract, so have it ready.
In the interview, use concrete examples: meeting a delivery deadline, moving a heavy or awkward shipment safely or helping a customer at a counter. Mention French if you speak it, since several Quebec listings are bilingual. For casual roles, be clear about the hours you can cover, because listings ask for availability within set windows.
Common mistakes when applying
- Expecting permanent hours from the Calgary picker listings, which are marked seasonal or temporary.
- Ignoring the division, since a Supply Chain warehouse and an Express service centre have different pay, schedules and agreements.
- Leaving out forklift certificates or equipment such as reach trucks and stand-up forklifts, which Supply Chain postings name.
- Missing the interview call, as DHL Express only contacts the applicants it selects.
How to spot fake DHL job offers
DHL’s Canadian fraud awareness page says official DHL email comes from @dhl.com and its subdomains, @dpdhl.com, @dhl-news.com or a DHL country domain, and it sends job seekers to DHL’s careers websites to understand the recruitment process. Applying is free and is done only on the official careers site.
Be cautious with anyone who offers a DHL job by text or social media without an application, asks for a fee or banking details, or writes from a personal email address. If you cannot find the job on careers.dhl.com, do not send documents.
